Privacy

The short version: what you put into the app stays on your device.

Draft for review. This page describes how the app works today in plain language. It is not yet a legal privacy policy and must be reviewed before the app is listed in the App Store or Google Play.

What the app keeps

  • Your child's profile: name, nickname and sensory settings.
  • Emotion check-ins, saved coaching tips, prayer journal entries and badges.
  • Prayer requests and discussion posts you write, and a record of the help requests you make.
  • Your display settings, and your church's Care Line number if you save one.
  • An email address and a protected form of your password, only if you choose to add an account.

Where it is kept

On your phone or tablet. The app works without an account, and its first screen says “Your information stays on this device.” Deleting the app removes this information from the device. A device backup you have turned on may keep a copy.

What the app does not do

  • It does not need your email address or a password to work.
  • It does not send anything to your church, or to anyone else, on its own.
  • It does not show advertising.

Asking for a team member

If you have saved your church's Care Line, asking for a team member opens a text message in your phone's own messaging app. The message holds your request number, where you said you are, and your child's first name if you typed one. You see it before it goes, and it is sent only if you press Send. You can call instead. Without a Care Line, the app shows a card for you to hold up in person, and nothing is sent.

Location

The child location safety alert on the Service tab asks for your location while it is switched on. Your location is used on the device and is not sent anywhere.

What will change

Connecting families with their church's team is being built. When it is ready, sharing anything with a church will be your choice, and this page will say exactly what is shared, with whom, and how to stop.
